    SIREN Immigration legal Clinic - MLK Library

    SIREN will have Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) certified representatives to give free legal consultations to people with immigration issues/concerns. The focus is on applying for citizenship, checking for eligibility and if ready assistance in completing the citizenship application. However, we can also assist in determining eligibility and assistance in submitting: 1. Renewal of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) 2. Green card renewal 3. Family Petitions 4. U visa eligibility

    Hosted by the Board of Supervisors and the office of the President of the Board, Supervisor Dave Cortese, The theme this year is “Holocaust Refugees: From There to Where?” Tom and Susan Klein, local Holocaust survivors from Hungary, will give personal testimony about their survival. Yavneh Day School choir and Westmont High student Anat Baird will provide musical interludes. Archbishop Mitty High School students will provide background and reflections on interviewing survivors. Candle lighting and reception follows the ceremony.
