Free Immigration Law Clinics - Jewish Family Services
JFS-SV and the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association, (AILA) are offering free immigration law clinics to serve the needs of immigrants in the South Bay. Clients who come to this country as asylees or refugees (those who fled their home countries because of persecution) can receive help to complete green card and citizenship applications and fee waiver applications to ameliorate the costs of the application fees (totaling well over a thousand dollars.)

Bay Area Diwali Festival
In its seventeenth year, the festivities include a wonderful feast of food, music, and dance including a traditional Rangoli display, art and craft booths. Admission and parking are free. The Kids Zone is packed throughout the day with fun and exciting activities including the petting zoo, pony rides, jump houses, face painting, and much more.
Come to enjoy the festive atmosphere of sari festooned trees, spectacular lanterns, and a cultural kaleidoscope of activities and performances. Beginning at 11 am with the popular Kids Zone art show and grand opening ceremony at 12:30 pm.
