We commemorate the Indian community’s determination for freedom and love for their country during their struggle for independence.     Remember to bring the following:  -work permit -copy of your prior DACA application - 2 passport style pictures -Check or Money Order for $495 -if you have ever been arrested, your court certified disposition -Your most recent tax return (i.e. your 2018 taxes) *For eligible individuals, we are offering scholarship for the $495 renewal fee

    Please keep in mind that all documents must be brought in order for SIREN to assist you.

    RSVPs are required for each applicant renewing DACA. This form will automatically disable after SIREN reaches the max number of applicants we can assist for each clinic. You can find more on our website at www.siren-bayarea.org

      If you saw someone being harassed or facing discrimination, would you know how to safely intervene? SCCLD is hosting two Bystander Intervention Training sessions in August, to coincide with Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month. The training will be presented by the Council of American Islamic Relations – San Francisco Bay Area office (CAIR – SFBA).

       Participants will learn specific de-escalation techniques to defuse potentially tense situations where someone is being targeted for harassment. The trainings will also provide tips on how to record incidents and when to involve law enforcement.
