How to Become a US Citizen - The Naturalization Process
The U.S, Citizenship and Immigration Services, community relations officers are offering free virtual sessions open to the public in September. No registration required.

1. If you are using a computer, use Google Chrome to open the link. You can click on “Join from your browser” to join the meeting.
2. If you are using a phone or tablet, it is best to download the Cisco WebEx Meeting App (it is free).
3. When you log in, please select the “Call Me” audio feature and type in your phone number (do not use your computer speakers as this will increase background noise). You will receive a call to join the meeting.

Requirements to take the Citizenship Class: You must have been a legal permanent resident for at least 5 years, or 3 years if married to a U.S. Citizen You must read, write, and understand basic English. You can also practice your citizenship interview! During the mock interview, you will practice how to answer questions about your application, background, and civics test, as well as to practice the reading and writing test!
